They are a little more expensive than ceramic tile, but you will be happy with the results the extra money will give. The do-it-yourselfer will find glass tiles easy to trim and apply if you are wanting to tackle the project yourself. Most come already together by a mesh background with perfect grout spacing between. A very good choice for the kitchen because it is easy to clean. Ceramic tile is the most common and traditionally looked at as cheap.
